TESTIMONIALS
Hi in Merida!
It took us many weeks to catch up on work and life when we returned from the Yucatan in early May. I had intended to write you and share our appreciation for Ricardo's help and friendly manner and to also reply to Ricardo's follow-up email about the properties we saw. Then summer started to appear in the Pacific NW and we got busy with other things. As I just scanned deeply into my Inbox, I saw Ricardo's email and realized it was still unanswered. I'm sorry about the delay.
In most ways, Merida met or exceeded our expectations. Certainly, Ricardo and the other residents we met were wonderful community ambassadors, and the city center had the social and cultural vibrancy that we seek. The homes we visited reinforced our sense that we could find the "right" house in the center -- particularly seeing those that had been remodeled in a classic modern style.
Ricardo couldn't have done more to nurture our considerations, and as an agent and fine young man, we couldn't have had a better companion for much of our brief visit.
We're not sure about our plans, now. Out of the blue last month, I inquired of our home insurance company about their mortgage line of business and we are closing on a VA refi in two weeks. That changes the affordability of our waterfront home into retirement. But, we're still hoping for retirement someplace else, and Merida remains on the list. When the cool, wet days of late fall arrive, our thoughts will again turn to warm, sunny places. We'll always remember Ricardo warmly and will hope there will be reason to see him again.
Thanks so much for "assigning" Ricardo to us and for making house-hunting in Merida so enjoyable both in person and online.
