Idyllic country spot!  Known as Sac Nicte (Frangipani blossom), the property has three traditional Maya houses - one the livingroom/kitchen, a bathroom and separate airy palm-thatched bedroom, set on half a hectare (over an acre) planted with fruit trees and watered from the windmill and well.  This village has become famous for its three pristine cenotes which can be visited by horse-drawn “truck” on the old rails of ex-Hacienda Chunkanan (see photos).  There is no cenote on the property itself, but a beautiful swimming pool filled with fresh well water.  The houses were built within the last four years and have electricity and water, of course.

The village is very peaceful and friendly - the locals will make you feel at home.  Just outside Merida, close to Cuzama and Acanceh…call and make an appointment to visit.
