One of the prettiest chimneys and “fabricas” I have seen, and a Casa Principal in largely original condition, structurally sound.  This was one of the most important henequen haciendas in the Izamal area.  There are 150 hectares of land, many worker’s houses in deteriorated condition, huge and ornate fabrica with beautiful chimney, many wells with plentiful water on the property, which is completely fenced and cross-fenced with stone walls.  There are corrals with decorative gateways, electricity on the property and the location is on good paved road!  There is much native wildlife in the high forest on the property - margay cat, tyra, tamandua….and every kind of native bird.

The caretaker is a wonderful resource, knowledgeable about the hacienda, native plant medicine, local wildlife, Maya traditions….he is looking forward to staying on to help you.
